Re: Agoraphobia
Teez, I don't do public transport either. The last time I was on a bus was in 1975 which is a heck of a long time ago. I haven't been on a tube since the mid 70's either and the last time I flew was back in 1973
I don't think you are missing much with the cinema to be honest. I don't go very often either. When I started going to the cinema again a number of years ago it was the first time in over 20yrs that I had been and I was quite taken aback at how loud it was and how close to the screen you are even if you sit at the back. I actually prefer the big old cinemas where you just have one film showing. These multiplex ones that they have now make me anxious as you get too many people in them.

Re: Agoraphobia
Well done to all you agoraphobia sufferers.I've suffered with it on and off over the years, mostly off between 2001 and 2008.But this time last year I started getting some nasty anxiety again, and before I knew it I was getting all those familiar feelings of 'can't wait to get home' etc.My daughter is visiting friends in town and I know I've got to drive her home later,I'm just hoping the wife doesn't ask me to call in any shops on the way.If its spontaneous I'm usually ok but its the pre-planned stuff.
I was doing great until the other day....but suddenly the anxiety is back and instead of looking forward to xmas like I was,I'm now just thinking about getting through the next day.How quickly this illness can strike....
Anyway,I hope you guys are having a better time of it.Take good care all of you and keep safe,
Fishy
