Hi everyone!

Well tonight is the night.

I am going out for a proper formal meal with work colleagues. Me, who in april was so phobic of food i just survived on bread and water for a time.

I've come a long way, and especially this week and last i have made a lot of progress, but i am very very nervous, especially as will be with people i do not know,

Luckily my partner can come with me and i know he'll be holding on to me the whole time. I'm just worry i'll cough and splutter (hot foods tends to make me cough for some reason) and get too hot and want to go outside or panic eeeeek..

I'm trying to think positive, and i'm going to be having some dutch courage before i leave the house this evening! please spare a thought for me...

It’s natural for feel a little nervous before an event – everyone experiences that. But there’s a little known fact that the physical feelings of panic and those of excitement are very similar. Could this one be excitement, I wonder...

Another thing to remember is that the mind is very good at giving us what we focus our attention on. So rather than thinking about all the things you don’t want to happen, instead think about all the things you do! Imagine the evening going just brilliantly and just the way you want it to. Your mind will then work on making it so.
