Panicking about brain hemorrhage

Anxiety appears to have returned to me. I haven't suffered like this for many years. Right now I'm all worked up about brain hemorrhages.

I can rationalize that it is stupid but can't seem to stop panicking about it. I nearly had a full blown panic attack an hour ago about it.

Today whilst playing with my kids I strained alittle and felt a pain at the back of my head. My thoughts spiraled out of control immediately and panic settled in.

I'm so scared I've given myself a brain bleed or something. Desperately trying to keep myself calm :(

Are your children very young? I think sometimes having the responsiblity for very young children can make you panic more when something unexplainable happens.

Yes they are very young. I actually believe this is where the root of my fear of death is coming from.

I kind of thought it might be. I had the same after having my daughter - hadn't had problems for a number of years and then bam it hit me very hard when she was very tiny. My sister had the same.
