I take desvenlafaxine and am having stomache aches pains- almost daily. It's been 12 days. will this go away, or will i need to switch? I see my doctor Wednesday, so obviously will discuss with her.

I've had nausea and stomachaches with Escitalopram. Usually, the side-effects should disappear withing 2 weeks. If they persist, please talk to your doctor.
Thanks for replying Ana. I noticed i'm also getting back aches with it. I really hope this goes away. It seems to be helping my mood a bit. Did you do anything to help your stomache aches?
I didn't, no. I just suffered through it, though I'd mostly get in in the mornings, after taking the medication. I've since come off Escitalopram, but my therapist told me that, if the side-effects had persisted, she would have taken me off it as there's no point in compromising anyone's physical health and creating discomfort for the sake of mental health when there are so many medications out there to choose from. We might as well find the one that suits our needs.
