Give me only good stories please

I've just been given mirtazapine 15mg for anxiety. I am not going to read the leaflet just take them.

I dare not look at any other posts as I just want encouragement. I cant take any more bad news at the moment, so tell me they are great. Thank you.

    Hi Humly

I am on Mirt 15mg and can honestly say that they have totally changed me for the better.

I did suffer a bit from the side effects but the positivies have far outweighed the negatives.

    Good luck

    Elen

Good luck humly, and stay positive, you will get lots of support here, you are right, don't read the leaflet, i think that is the problem with many ad's you read and expect or imagine you have all the side effects, good advice for anyone else starting. take care x

    Hi Humly,

I have taken a few different meds in the past but this was by far the best!! Give it 2-4 weeks to start helping and you will be fine.

The benefits of mirtazipine far out-weighted the negatives for me too.

    Hope it helps...good luck!!

Thank you, thank you. I wouldnt mind staying in bed all day if I could relax and I am off work for two weeks so I can. First one tonight. When do you usually take them - just before bed or an hour or two before?

thanks Mum83. i am really not scared about taking them now. Look forward to the chocolate experience too. I know they increase your appetite but I dont care about putting on weight - I've always said that I'd rather be fat and happy than skinny and miserable. x

Hi. Had the first tablet last night and had the best sleep for ages. I slept about 13 hours. feel a little bit groggy and a bit shakey this morning but thats to be expected and the chemist said it should pass in a few days. My heart is pounding a bit too. However, I cannot expect to feel any better after just one tablet and I know have to give it a few weeks for it to start taking effect. I will carry on with them
