Hi Is it because on your other thread you have had no replies? While I don't like it it some times happens, have you posted in the correct forum? You could go back to the thread and ask again for some help/advice and be aware of different time zones too so some members may be in bed as it's night time where they are, It's nothing personal _ Cheers

I dought that's the reason. I think there's only about 4 or 5 people that make an effort to reply on this forum. You can't take it personally on here if you don't get a reply. Strange place this is

I don't agree Barryboy, I think there is more then 4 or 5 people responding here. There is a lot of HA posts, people that are in the rabbit hole of the reassurance spiral. I skim past them as I have no experience with this form of anxiety. I do try to to respond to any GAD or other anxiety posts. There is a lot of support here. Another thing is the time difference for some of us. There is a 5-7 hour difference for me as I'm in the US. Try PM if you aren't getting any responses, I have many friends I've made here and there is also an instant message chat room if you want real time response. Don't give up on this group as there are some wonderful people here.

Hmm, I've seen it on here were some posters have given out long thought out replies and they don't even get a thanks, I think that's just rude. I dunno, I don't spend much time on the Internet talking to people, but out of the few forums I do use this one is erm very quiet.
Maybe the site is poorly designed, it has to many sub forums, there's just to much going on here.

I wouldn't say it was quiet at all to be honest.

As for the design - there is a reason for the many sub-forums.

I guess that's down to the individual poster Barry boy I have seen it many times on many forums it's not just on here I would agree it is rude but have had many thanks personally from other members on here too Yes it's a two way street but we are all different! Would be nice and in a perfect world everyone would thank everyone but it's not perfect this world isn't. I guess it's not poorly designed but with any forum there will be sub forums, some sites wont have many, others will. And the main thing is don't take it personally either. I presume you would rather prefer to actually speak with people face to face? Cheers

I tend not to visit the individual forums, I go into 'Active Topics' and click onto 'todays posts' and then I can see all of the different forum threads together...pages of them. It's where all the action is Barry, and busier than you think

Thank you guys for replying to Me on this thread. If I'm honest I've only ever in the past used one other forum for my health, and that site deals specifically with anxiety. It's a lot different to this forum so guess I'm just comparing the two.
Yes Bigboy, I suppose I would prefer face to face. I went to a meet up group over the weekend, it was great, really met some cool people, it's something I plan to do again
