Uncontrollable random thoughts?

Do many get this symptom? It's like my mind is racing uncontrollably by itself but on thoughts that make no sense or even repeated parts of a song verse, it's even worse when trying to sleep or half asleep, like a continuous dream of utter nonsensical garbage.
