A very weird, unnerving symptom hit me earlier today. Some sort of nerve/vein at the corner of my right eye--right where the eye socket tapers toward the temple--was twitching/vibrating on and off for about two hours, the entire duration of a flight.
Initially, I thought that I was imagining it, but when I felt it with my finger, I realized it was real, and quite violent. I could also sort of see it happening in a mirror.
I've been especially anxious/stressed this weekend because of some minor personal stuff, and am generally a nervous flyer, so maybe I was carrying a lot of latent anxious energy.
Not sure though. Has this happened to anyone else?
