Withdrawal after stopping Fluoxetine

Hello all,

I was on Fluoxetine 40mg for 18 months and weaned off gradually over a period of 6 months. My last dose was 2 months ago, and over the last couple of weeks I have been feeling very low and very tired. I'm sleeping fine, but when I wake up in the morning my whole body aches. Over the last 10 days I have had very frequent 'low' days, including today.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? I do not have access to good doctors in my city; the doctor who prescribed my medication is now in another country. I'm unable to figure out whether this is a relapse or withdrawal. I plan to start exercising next week to try and get some more energy, but in the meantime I could really do with some support/advice.

I don't think this is withdrawal as symptoms usually begin long before the drug is completely out of the system. It might be a relapse (did you take fluoxetine for anxiety, depression, or both?), but it could be something else too. If possible try and get a full medical check up to rule out organic illnesses.
