    Erection problems

I am really loving these forums. I do not feel so much alone, and most anxiety problems are described. That's the case with libido which affects anxiety. I do not know if it is the correct name but I think have performance anxiety. When I am with a new partner it is very difficult to have an erection.

You could try Horny Goat Weed or Maca, both act as a hormone balancer and help in 'that' department.

Most likely, then you may be having psychological stress affecting your erections and performance.

The way to correct this, is to indulge in sexual activity, when your aim is not just to maintain erections, but is to be the perfect lover for your woman. You will have to leave all your worries and stress all outside the bed room. Just be your self with your partner.

To reduce the pressure, absorb yourself in the pleasure of the moment. The best way to handle this situation is to seek help from your partner and try techniques like mutual masturbation. When you achieve orgasm, when your partner masturbates you will help in removing any form of anxiety or frustration in your mind.

One thing I tell many people on other forums is to get your testosterone checked out. Supposedly some antidepressant and anti-anxiety medications hinder your bodies to make testosterone efficiently. Maybe your levels were even low prior. It cannot hurt to ask your GP to give them a check during a routine visit. We should all be getting bloodwork every one in awhile anyway!

Other than that, some people have had some success with some supplements. Maca Root and L-Citrulline comes to mind. Maca Root is from Peru, I believe... It's tagged as an Adaptogen. L-Citrulline is an amino acid that is a precursor to L-Arginine, which increases Nitric Oxide (Vasodilator) in the bloodstream. This helps with erections.

For pharmaceuticals, you can try Viagra or Cialias. Viagra gave me a terrible case of what felt like the flu after every use (a few times) and had other side effects I didn't particularly like. Cialis didn't really bother me and worked, but supposedly you're supposed to take it daily or more frequently. I am not a doctor, so do not quote me on that. I didn't take it daily and it seemed to work whenever I took it.
