Hi SBlink well I think this would be a great step forward getting my life back, it's gone on too long now. The only thing that bothers me is being on telly, but guess that is only a small part of it as the help will continue off camera. I have found there is very little help out there to help lots of people like my self too many hurdles to get over so thank you Cheers

Yeah, hoarding is often portrayed in a sensationalist way across multiple programmes of this sort.

OC Cleaners being a good example considering OCD UK have tried to get them to stop their insensitive portrayal and Dr Salkovskis refuses to appear on the programme despite them trying to get him.

The question is - what is this company going to produce? And the channel it goes on might shed some light on it.

We are working on a sensitive and serious series where we hope to offer people struggling with hoarding and clutter problems free psychological and practical support. We have recently produced a similar documentary and are passionate in raising awareness and offering support to the people we are working with.

We do not want to portray hoarding in a sensationalist way at all but to show the best practice in treating the disorder. With that said, we are looking for all types of people with hoarding and clutter issues whose homes are in different conditions.

We have worked with leading specialists in this field previously and if you would like to know more, I would be more than happy to discuss this with you directly if you are interested in knowing more?

There is deffinatley a gap in this sort of help for ppl suffering from this condition as I have personally found the number of organisations,charitys etc I have contacted only to be told no we cant help for many reasons but we can send leaflets out to help you that is not the way to help people with this condition as the tv docs on this subject always shows think really we have only scratched to the surface on this huge problem many thousands I would say are still suffering and are lost.Interestingly I see a similar thread set up last year for a A Blink are you the same company Blink Films a BAFTA award winning tv producers??
