Fluoxetine second time around

Hi,

Needing some advise, I went back on meds last year from being off them for 3 years. Just wanting to see if taking the medication again made them feel better again as it is helping a bit but still get bad symptoms at night?

Hoping this is just a blip as I don't want to come off them and try other medication as it worked so well the last time. Been on them again since August and on 40mg.

if you've been on them for 6 months I'd expect them to be working now but I'm no doctor! You could increase to 60mg- I've read that if you have an anxiety disorder you sometimes need 60 or even 80mg.

When I upped from 20-40mg the other day my GP said that many of her patients are on 40 and 60mg, and our surgery is in a sleepy village, so it's not an uncommon dose!

Only ever been on 40mg so not sure if I want to go to 60mg. Hopefully its just a blip and wont need to change meds
