    Panicking

Just been to the cinema, but had a mini anxiety attack halfway through.
    Calmed myself down.
I had a chilli sauce for dinner and my tongue and throat were tingling afterwards. So I started panicking that i couldn't swallow. Now feel really out of it. Sipping a herbal tea but still feel derealised.
Had a whole bag of M&Ms and a bottle of Pepsi, so am wondering whether it's because of all the sugar?
Having a herbal tea now but still feel anxious and like there's a weight on my chest.
I am prone to anxiety attacks, but infrequently.
    Please can someone help?

    Re: Panicking

A panic attack can certainly drain you physically. You did a great job recognizing the attack and calming yourself down. I think you are just experiencing the residual effects of the attack. Best wishes.
