    Spirulina is high in trytophan (0.93g per 100g) but egg whites are higher (1.00g per 100g).

    There are 600mg to 100g of pumpkin seeds.

    There are very few foods that actually contain serotonin, like your walnuts. I'm not sure whether the GI tract uses that though. Dark chocolate is known to increase serotonin in both the gut & brain.

    Whatever you're eating FMP it's certainly giving you a very healthy outlook on life so I'd love you to be able to share your recipes on NMP. Does it really matter if there are other foodie threads? "Baking therapy" works wonders for some people so the more threads the better in my opinion.

    I love baking therapy, hah! I hate cooking but would be interested in seeing ideas for EASY meals that are healthy and tasty. Why not start a healthy recipes thread?
