    Hello guys

I have noticed that i am always tensing up my sholders and i often have very bad pain in my arms, chest back and ribs.
Do you think its related to anxiety and tensing up?

i think so, i get this too, it feels like its always tense on my left side of my shoulder and its always worse when sitting, when i am laying down or moving around i am fine. i think that neck and shoulders are really sensitive to stress and anxiety.

Hi Angie , yes tension does cause pain especially over a long time and don't I know it! I suppose we do it subconciously but now you will be aware, your body is telling you that you are tense because it's giving you pain ! It is worth having a check up with your doctor and because the pain is not confined to one specific area he/she will probably tell you that it is anxiety. Hot baths and massages help me and whenever you feel yourself tense nip it in the bud straight away and relax those muscles x x
