Im really pleased for you although its not nice it will pass.
Funny my ribs have flared up alot today, they feel bruised and i cant bear anything touching it......a hot water bottle really helps.

I too also have the same pains on left side beside left breast, i was sick a few weeks ago with a bad cough this pain has been with me for a week now. It hurts when i heavily breath, hurts when i cough, hurts when i lay on that side, but what is weird is i really feel the pain at night, the pain is very uncomfortable that it keeps waking me up especially when i move a little. I really want it to go away so i can sleep properly. I work fulltime, im tired when i start work, and exhausted in the evening i just want to sleep and this pain to dissapear :(
