    Waiting for CT scan results

    Hi Everyone,

I hope you all are having a great week!

I am needing some kind words because I am awaiting the results of my CT scan on my sinus and brain because I was smelling smoke off an on for about 2 months now.

I got the scan on Saturday, and I haven't been called back with the results from my GP yet.

If they found something, would they call right away?

Anyone have any experience with this?

    Hi

This is just a courtesy reply to let you know that your post was moved from its original place to a sub-forum that is more relevant to your issue.

This is nothing personal - it just enables us to keep posts about the same problems in the relevant forums so other members with any experience with the issues can find them more easily.

I would think they would call if it was life-threatening or life-changing yes.

I have had a couple of MRI' s and the results have taken two weeks. If there is something worrying on the scan I'm pretty sure they would be faxed over to your GP a lot quicker.

No worries Nicola. Sorry if I posted it in the wrong place.

Re: Waiting for CT scan results

I thought I would update this thread, as I always like to read of a good outcome with other people's posts. I got a call last night from the doc and his secretary was calling to give me a time for an ENT appointment, and I asked her about my CT scan and she looked and said that it doesn't look like anything was wrong, and that there were a bunch of "Nos'" on the report, and that they would have red flagged it if there was.

So I am so relieved about this.
