    Mission weightless underway

    It's been 8 months since I smoked my final cigarette and I've gained a little weight, was already a little overweight before that.
    As some know, I tried running and had to admit I was no natural runner. Tried walking and loved it, noticed things I'd never noticed before and found it so beneficial. It's now too cold to walk so I've joined the gym again. I'm determined to keep my momentum if self improvement going and hopefully lose weight along the way.
    I'm building my confidence up slowly and never forgetting the mantra that 'Rome wasn't built in a day'.

    Go you!

    My counselor insists that 20+ minutes of good heart rate rising cardio is better than any anxiety drug. He says you need to do it three times per week and you will feel better very quickly. My first step was to join a gym, but I haven't been yet. Your post is motivating me to make a plan to get there and exercise!
