It's been 8 months since I smoked my final cigarette and I've gained a little weight, was already a little overweight before that.
As some know, I tried running and had to admit I was no natural runner. Tried walking and loved it, noticed things I'd never noticed before and found it so beneficial. It's now too cold to walk so I've joined the gym again. I'm determined to keep my momentum if self improvement going and hopefully lose weight along the way.
I'm building my confidence up slowly and never forgetting the mantra that 'Rome wasn't built in a day'.
