Afraid of having bowl movement during procedure

I'm afraid of having a bowl movement during the procedure because I will be sedated. They are going to give me propofol (Michael Jackson juice). What strategy should I use to avoid this from happening.

My upper endoscopy ultrasound is scheduled for between 7:00 and 8:00 in the morning. I check in at 6:00 a.m.

They have told me to fast for 8 hours before the procedure. Nothing by mouth. No medications. No water.

    Thanks for your suggestions!

Hi new to group, noticed your message, did you have the endoscopy procedure, hope it went well, reason for my message I have appointment in two weeks time, bag of nerves very scared.
Suffer already from anxiety and panic attacks , but last two months experiencing burning in upper stomach, waves of nausea, heartburn, been taking ranitidine, but blood tests show anemia and low levels and blood loss in gut, so ordered endoscopy.
Wonder if you may give any guidance on test, did you have sedation, or without, really appreciate any help to go along for test. Thankyou
