Hey guys, decided to kick the drink and had a dry month... Here's the anxiety clause though, I lost about half a stone and so (obviously) I.now think there's something terribly wrong with me.

Yes - I've done a dry January for the past couple of years and always lose quite a few pounds... I can assure you that it's completely natural... As I'm sure you know, alcohol (especially beer) has an unbelievable amount of calories in it... Going out for a few pints is like eating several dinners! Therefore, if you cut it out of your diet, you're bound to drop some weight

Alcohol converts to sugar in your body so lose the alcohol, lose the weight...well unless you're me and then its lose the alcohol and eat lots of cake instead
