Has anybody here tried float therapy/isolation tank

I was wondering of floating has helped anybody with there anxiety, I'm going to try it this Friday for an hour.

Ive ne&er heard of this. Im sure it will help bu why not just go swimming pool? Its good to be in water as well as in touch with your enviroment. How much does this cost?

Hmm, yep I've tried it. It never really did anything for my anxieties. It was definitely not "WOW" experience. If anything I was probably more tense when I left the place because of the aggrevation getting there in central London. Saying that, just because it didn't do anything for me doesn't mean it won't work for you. If money's no object you've got nothing to lose if you try it. I can't remember how much it cost because it was a long time ago, I think it was around £25.00 per hour😊

I've not tried it but it was recommended to me, I heard from someone I know it really helped them with stress but then that's not the same as anxiety. I think I also read they recommend to do it more times for it to have a full effect? I might try it one day, so I would love to hear your experience

I have done float therapy several times, first off it takes me some time to initially “calm” down, it was ok but definitely not WOW or anything. The last time I did it they left me in the tank for 1.5 hrs (I had booked 60 mins) and I dehydrated a bit which then put my anxiety in overdrive lol! Not sure if I will try again
