I hate the way I act

I have a difficult time trying to like myself. I thought I was doing good with everything but got into an argument with someone and cause of my anxiety I couldn't think of right words to say and make my point and made myself seem stupid and now the progress I made is ruined. I feel stupid and that I'm useless. I don't know why I cannot feel good about myself when I try to do good someone ruins it. Anyone feel this way

The progress you made is not ruined. We all have setbacks; that's part of life. Think of it like practicing for a sport...you aren't going to make all of the goals in practice every time.
