Feels like food and drunk going down wrong hole

    Hi
I'm back on here, having a really tough year!
Latest is health scares, been feeling like when food accidentally goes down the wrong hole and it makes you cough, but I get it all the time after a drink or food, but the odd time it doesn't happen, when I'm relaxed, which makes me think it could be anxiety stress related, anybody else had this, got to have a lung X-ray which is frightening me. 😔

Re: Feels like food and drunk going down wrong hole

hey there! I've had a chronic sore throat for over a year now and after numerous tests i've basically assumed that it's anxiety related as nothing else has come up.
so yes, these things are possible.
I'm trying to look for things like herbal remedies to help with my anxiety at the moment, so I'll see how that works out.
anyway, i hope everything's ok with your lungs. just thought i'd let you know that these things can happen and unlike what many people have told me when i've mentioned stress causing my throat, you're not out of your mind for thinking so!
