Anxiety before doctor appt.

Hi

Does anyone get anxiety before their doctor appt. for depression and anxiety. I always seem to get anxious and think she is going to judge me if I am not improving. I was wondering if anyone else gets like this.

Absolutely Johmac.

A lot of the my fears are rooted in my own guilt though. I don't always do the things suggested, or I don't do them enough for whatever reason. It feels like I going to get told off....but that never actually happens

I had my appt. today and it went quite well but she was not pleased because she had given me a month off on sick leave and I continued working. Today I have stopped working. Still get the same fears and judge myself too much.

Don't be to hard on yourself. Remember that no one is perfect and we all make mistakes, you are no exception so don't beat yourself up. The big thing is to stay motivated to keep trying.
