High temperature and rapid heart rate

    Hi

    I have a cold and a temperature.

Is it normal for your heart to beat faster?

I can hear it beating in my ears too.

Totally normal. Do the usual... drink plenty of fluids and take OTC meds for fever and aches. Get some rest. Feel better soon!

I have some kind of plague too right now, and yes...the heart rate will be faster.

With me, it seems to be about 15-20% faster, and also it feels harder.

Used to really trigger my anxiety before, but you just have to keep telling yourself it's a normal part of being ill that you'd never have noticed before.
