It's been a while since I last posted (2008 I think) so popped on to give an update.
Been suffering panic attacks since school (I'm now 34). In 2006 they got real bad again following the birth of my first son. In 2008 I was starting to feel a bit better, and although they were brought on more when driving, I had managed to overcome some of it and was once again driving on A and B roads with minimal issues. Motorways were still a no-no though as as soon as I approached the slip road the panic would overwhelm me and I would refuse to turn onto the motorway.
Now in 2011 I am pleased to report that I am now once again back on the motorways and the panic attacks are very much a thing of the past.
I know that I won't be rid of these, I will one day be hit with another spell of panic, but for now I am trying to enjoy life to the full.
I now am married, and have a second son.
Hope everyone is keeping well, and hope to read a few more success stories as I have a browse through the forums.
