White spots in eyes

I am suffering with Anxiety - I frequently experience ectopic heart beats - generally to do with excitment, stress or too much gas in my stomach. I have had a holter monitor about 7 years ago which diagnosed my ectopics as innocent extrasystoles. I have been to gp on numerous occasions recently - my blood pressure has been fairly good, which I suppose at 31 is no bad thing. Sue to recent stresses I have reverted to an anxiety state I was in about 10 years ago - which I eventually managed to get under control.

Whats worrying me now is that I have also recently experienced white spots in my vision (like thin streaks of white/silver, that appear briefly). This has happened on 3 occasions - once getting out of the swimming baths, once after blowing my nose and finally today after getting up off the floor after being fouled at football. does anyone know what this is?

Im quiete sure its not something directly related to anxiety, but perhaps it could have been aggravated.

that is a symptom of anxiety. is it like waves that you see at the corner of your eyes. I get that only for a moment. try not to worry.

I used to get this quite a lot when my anxiety was acute.

Yes debera its more like quick waves/flashes moving from outside to inside - they go within a few seconds. No as scarey as the ectopics but when your anxious a bit of reassurance helps.

I get it too, didnt realise it was a symptom of anxiety...feel better now!

I get it too. I didn't realize it was from anxiety, but my eye doctor assured me that they were harmless and not to worry.
