I'd go. All not going would achieve is strengthening your anxiety.

You always should talk to the doctor when you feel the slightest symptoms

I'm sorry but I disagree with this. Calling or running off to the doctor for every slight symptom or niggle is not practical nor advised.

I have to add since I retired in march my GP visits did increase but not for every little twinge or sensation . I am on your side KATYFITZ i Know this is hard and understand . Ive had a hundred tests over the years and they found nothing wrong except underactive thyroid . Constant doctor reasurance feeds anxiety .
    I wish you well .

Re: My stomach issues make me wanna scream

IBS is sometimes painful and uncomfortable but completely benign. Your tests are completely normal-whatever you believe you have is skewed thinking as a result of anxiety. Nothing bad is going to happen to you in Scotland other than continuous IBS symptoms if you allow your anxiety to overwhelm you. I really hope you have a great time in Scotland and try and let your stomach symptoms take a back seat? It would be such a shame if you focussed on your stomach rather than your holiday?

It's literally the first thing I think about when waking up. I hate the constant wind and gassy feelings. It's awful. Thanks for the reply tno
