sore dry throat feels like foos stuck

does anyone else have this? i feel like i have a piece of food stuck down the side of my throat.
It feels dry and a little sore too, its been like it on and off for 4 weeks now and im terrified its throat cancer as i do smoke.

im too scared to go to the doctors.

Hey ya,

Sorry to hear you're feeling frightened as i am sure anybody else would be too.

I've not experienced what you are feeling but i know it's never a good thing to make assumptions. I think it's more than likely to be some kind of infection which is being made worse because it's not being treated so it's become quite swollen - hence the pain. I think you ought to see your GP it could be just a simple matter of taking some antibiotics, but whatever it is, i really do think you need to see your GP as the earlier it's treated the less chance of it becoming serious.

i'm havin troubles with my throat too trace and i went to docs and he sent me to a ent specialist who stuck a tube down thru me nose and he found only signs of reflux he reckons alot of it is the axiety
