Feels like something stuck at back of throat

Don't know if anyone else has had this experience, but have had a sensation of something stuck at the back of my throat for the last day or two. When I swallow or clear my throat it seems to subside - rather like the feeling of catarragh shifting, but I don't have a cold or nasal infection.

I did get something sharp temporarily stuck there - must have been a cracker that I was eating which I managed to shift with water, but it felt like it had scratched my throat and that is a bit tender.

Any suggestions as to how to ease it - or is it perhaps something anxiety related again - everything else I get is usually some nervous sensation.

    Hi dorabella

I answered a question very similar to this on the Health Anxiety subgroup. This sounds like "Frog in Throat". Nothing to worry about. Give it a Google!
