Restless Leg Syndrome

and periodic leg movement syndrome as well...

anybody else get this on citalopram??

Its driving me insane now, more so because I'm more conscious of it so more aware of it now! sometimes it disrupts my sleep, i jerk and twitch like a dying animal!!

all day I'm shaking my leg, my shoulders and arms are badly affected too... my shoulders twitch and my arms jerk... i can rarely sit still, and the more still i try and stay, the more i itch and need to move!!!

I've never suffered anything like this before...

i know it can be down to iron deficiency as well, anaemia, but dopamine has a strong impact and being on 30mg citalopram i wonder how that might be affected?

is there anything i can do?

my doctor seemed relatively uninterested to be honest, do i get a second opinion? is there something the doctor needs telling rather than asking?

or do i just put up with this?!!!

Hey, I am only on 10g but I noticed when I went on them the twitches started, it mainly happens at night I will wake up and my arms and legs seem to move on their own! At one point my arm shot out (sadly the wrong side as I hit the empty side of the bed not my snoring partner!!!) I can only put this down to the drugs as it never happened before cx

I have noticed since stopping citalopram I am suffering with restless legs towards the end of the day and bedtime. It'd horrible and I sympathise.
