I just really don't like invasive hospitals,
I know its not painful or anything but to me its just embarrassing, scary, possibly dangerous(in my head) and honestly unnecessary x

I totally get where you are coming from, I really do. I know a few people on this thread have already shared their experiences with you, but I also know when you are facing something that makes you this anxious it doesn't really matter what anyone else says. Saying that, I will tell you I had the test when I was a kid and honestly it's totally fine. I'm having some stomach issues at the moment and I am beyond petrified of having to have an endoscopy. So much so that if it comes to that I will request a barium swallow first.

I wish I could help you. I am also terrified of hospitals/tests etc. But as horrible tests go, this one is a skoosh. The general advice when feeling extremely anxious is to live in the moment. Not to think further ahead than the next five minutes. In this instance though it may help a little to think a little further ahead. By 11am this morning it'll be over with and you'll feel so relieved. And you'll be a step closer to find out what's going on with your tummy. x

I guess it doesn't help that its slightly pointless because I already know what's wrong she just wants to make sure its not something else and even if it is(very rare as I would of had these symptoms as a child) then there's still nothing you can really do, its just an unnecessary panic attack to me plus I feel like I'm only in this mess because of my anxiety, also looking forward to the fear of allergic reaction afterwards x
