I would like to send everyone who is alone at christmas or has someone poorly in hospital,or has lost someone close to them a big hug.

I'm missing my Grandparents at this time of year. Grandad died December, five years a go and my Grandma died 1 year ago last March. They used to join my family on Christmas day for dinner.

Thank you for this lovely thread Ellen, I'd like to hug my aunty who is in hospital after a fall. She is on the mend thankfully but would be very touched to see this thread.
