I have this all the time when trying anything new. I have problems with new stuff. It is OK and it will pass. If you can go lay down in bed and take some nice slow breaths and it will hopefully help. Nothing is stuck I promise. You are just very aware of all sensations right now because of trying g something new.

Take some slow, deep breaths from the belly, not the chest. You can do in through your nose, out through your mouth. Some people find alternate nostril breathing calming - it is from Yoga. You block one nostril with your finger and breathe in through the other, then switch and breathe out through the one that was blocked originally.

This video is a good tutorial ^^^

Find something like that to focus on instead of your heart and your pulse, that will just work you up more.
