asthma test today

I have an appointment in less than two hours for an asthma test. I'm really nervous.

Thank you so much for your reply. The test was to see if I have asthma. I just got back and thankfully, I do not. I have a lot of wheezing and post nasal drip with congestion on and off. I am also getting over bronchitis. She put me on another inhaler and also allergy medicine. My chest x-ray was clear. She told me anxiety can make all of these symptoms worse. My breathing is definitely restricted, but she said it is coming from my throat not my lungs.

That’s great that you don’t have it. And yes, anxiety makes my symptoms worse.

I was prescribed 5 days of qvar. 1 puff twice daily. Will I have to wean off of this medicine or just stop it after the 5 days? I am taking qvar, albuteral, zyrtec and mucinex.
