Hi guys, *trigger potential
I am having severe bouts of health anxiety recently and paranoiad about my heart etc, I'm 26 and know logically heart disease is very unlikely even if I am a bit overweight(not obese) and have a "Western lifestyle" . However what makes me realise this is health anxiety is I have been illness hopping for a couple of weeks. Therefore I want to go back on meds to curb the stress and worry. In typical hypochondriac fashion I'm scared to take the pills as read citalopram can cause serotonin syndrome. I also took mdma 5 months ago so worried this will have an effect and cause serotonin syndrome but I think that's when the two drugs are combined. Anyone else scared of citalopram safety and potential serotonin syndrome , is it common?.
