    Captioned: If physical diseases were treated like mental illness.

    Unfortunately this has been shared so often that I cannot figure out exactly where it originated. But credit to the artist whomever they may be.

    This image is about how people react when you tell them about your mental health.

    The middle image made me cry. My boyfriend broke up with me four months ago and I still have some days where I struggle with getting out of bed. If it took a week for that guy to recover, lucky him! Sometimes when I think about my ex, it still feels like I've just been stabbed it's so painful.

    Haha! Whoever that person is, they're probably a tad annoyed she outed them in a book.

    Thanks anthrokid, great artwork!

    Great article about how depressed people can experience happiness sometimes - and we feel like we have to pretend we don't in order to be taken seriously.

    Resumé

    Razors pain you;
    Rivers are damp;
    Acids stain you;
    And drugs cause cramp.
    Guns aren’t lawful;
    Nooses give;
    Gas smells awful;
    You might as well live.
