    Hot Flushes

    Hi

    I'm currently suffering from panic attacks / anxiety and am taking Citalopram and have been for nearly 3 weeks, trouble is I keep having hot flushes is this normal is it me?

    I have been on Citropram for about 9 months and I still get hot flushes with them that is the part I dont like because I start to panic when I get one coming on and make it worse

    Makes me feel abit better now knowing that u have them too
    It makes me start to panic when I feel one coming on

    Citalopram did this for me too, I'd wake soaked in the night, I switched to mirtazapine, it makes me sweat heavily also, nowhere near as bad as with citalopram.
    It's really difficult isnt it, your taking a pill to make you mentally better and it gives you side effects that make you feel physically ill.
