Sore, aching testicle - scared of cancer

Hello.

I'm a 16 year old guy and for about three weeks now one of my testicles has been aching, feeling sore and also felt bigger and heavier (although that may just be due to me being anxious).

At first I thought it was nothing because it started happening the same day I fell and hit my back and apparently that can cause some pain in the testicles. Thing is, back pain was nearly completely gone after around a week while this ache is still here.

Have not felt any lumps but as I said it might be bigger than usual, but absolutely not sure about that. Should I just wait and hope it disappears soon or could it be cancer? Really worried right now

I think you should wait a while longer and go to your GP only if it doesn't disappear.

"Cancer" shouldn't enter into this - there could be many minor causes.

My bad, 16 is just a typo, I'm 17. Btw, isn't testicular cancer something which primarily happens to younger people?

I think you should see your gp/doctor so he can check your testicles

I been to GP lots of times about my testicles and had three ultrasounds this started because my gp thought he felt a lump turned out to be a couple of cysts. connecting to the epdidymis I have already named them

Just like unsure_about_this, when I experienced a similar pain, it turned out to be a tiny cyst (hydrocele, actually). Cancer should not be the first thing on your mind. All sorts of things can cause testicles to hurt.
