    hi Tara,
All I know is that certain B vits are essential for healthy brain function. My mum used to take Kalms to help her sleep- is this what you're using them for? They apparently did help.

hi tara well i started taking b complex 100mg a week ago, and i used to take kalms , but found they made me far too sleepy in the day time, so now i take quiet life tablets, which have valerian in them too, along with other things which i find do help take the edge off feeling anxious.........
vitamin b im taking is huge, is it the 100mg one?

Remember the Vitamin B will give you yellow urine. 100mg is a large dose. Great for when you're acutely anxious to restore your stocks of it but you can probably cut down to a 50mg next time you buy some.

Passiflora and valarian are both good for during the day. If you're getting sleepy on the kalms then cut down the dose and please don't drive when having them.

Whenwillthisend.....I have read the bottle on the vitamin b it says vitaminb6 100mg.....vitamin b12 500ug.....not sure what this means ???

They are called..... timed release busy B with C high strength.

Meg...I haven't noticed being tired yet but I will keep an eye on this as I do drive and most of the time it's only me and son!!!!
I was shocked when I went the loo yesturday and saw the colour[:I] Glad to know it's only the vitamin b.

    Hi all xx

I'd just like to let you know how i'm getting on with the natural remedy.

The first significant thing I have noticed is that waking up in the morning is no longer a chore !!! When I wake I feel quite refreshed and happy which is really nice.

Also I was feeling a little low, but my mood does seem to have lifted.

Now this could be phsycological I know but I am feeling better!!!

On the kalms bottle is said to take 6 per day, Well as Trevor and Meg suggested, I got really tired and was falling asleep during the day and there was nothing I could do about it. So I have cut the kalms down to 4 per day, 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening, this seems a lot better.

Hopefully this will continue and I will ask my GP for a perscription of vitamin b next time as it costs a small fortune.

    Thanks all tara xx
