So just a few moments ago i went to the bathroom and saw mucus and a very small amount of blood in my stool. And it hurt as well. And now im freaking out. Of course i instantly went to the internet. And so now im convinced i have rectal cancer or another serious condition. My mom says its probably just hemorrhoids... but i cant calm down! :/ i need help... i really need help calming down. Anyone else experience this and turn out fine and not dead?

I had this a few weeks ago. It was just an anal fissure. I’m not sure about the mucus though. But even then I’ve had that before sometimes. And if you’re young, the chances of getting colon cancer are extremely small. So I wouldn’t worry about it. If you’re that worried. Go and see a doctor to put your mind at ease.
