Ball of air in throat

I've been told I suffer from reflux but this feeling in my throat doesn't seem to fit any of its symptoms.

Its sort of like a little ball or rush of air that comes up my throat (not a burp) more like a tickly fur ball and it sometimes feels similar to when you've been winded and air rushes up your throat. I do burp alot but this feels very different to a burp.

I'm terrified because its happening more and more.

So far I've had a chest x ray, ecg and blood tests and all have come back fine. I have to have an endoscopy but not sure if that will find anything.

Forgot to say it also makes me cough a little.

I have reflux too and i get the feeling you describe...i find its worse when i lay on my left side! I've had it since the beginning of the summer and it just won't go...its better then it was but only 50%.
I feel the air come back up but mine makes a gurgle sound and a flutter feeling on the right side of my adams apple...i also cough a lot and it can make my stomach turn and i gag
