Mince pies? now yer talkin!! good old uk eh? always rely on xmas in the autumn! doesnt start here until 1st dec as you prob know from yr time in the forces, and my bloke made me wait until xmas eve to put the tree up...

I've noticed that Xmas merchandise is starting to appear in the shops -it gets earlier every year.In the absence of a law banning the display and sale of Xmas Merchandise before 1st December I just hope the public will just not buy the goods to persuade the shops that the space would be put to better use at this time of the year

Thank goodness that I have been saving for Christmas. I am raising three granddaughters ages 8, 9, and 11. I never want them to feel inferior (?) like I always did.
