Can Anxiety make you feel bruised ?

    Hi

I went to bed last night feeling 'bruised' right in the middle of my chest and the centre of my back. It came on pretty suddenly after a day of various pains moving around my chest and under my right ribcage, together with loose stools.

Woke up this morning with the same, plus a headache back right. Am controlling it with Ibruprofen, which is helping.

    Can anxiety cause this ?

    Thanks
    Dave

Yep this is anxiety. When you get stressed the muscles in your chest spasm (the pains across your chest) and then get so worn out you begin to feel bruised and strained. I was gven inbruprofen to help so I would just keep up with them and try and relax!

Thanks Sophie, that's reassuring ! Starting to wear off now with the continuous intake of Ibruprofen, just hope it doesn't come back when I stop taking them !

God I hate this anxiety thing !
