I actually think I might be dying...

I really don't know what this is, but I have had blood tests done and some of the results are off. I was feeling numerous symptoms (I will explain later) before I had the tests done so it's not a case of the tests causing me to imagine things. I just don't know what to do because it's getting worse and worse. Some days I feel fine or I'll be fine for a few days then suddenly it will hit.

My kidney function tests are bad. I have an elevated thyroid TSH level (but normal T4 and no antibodies) on several tests. Some of my liver values are off. My pulse has been registered way too low so the doctor's sent me for an ECG. The ECG also showed I have an extremely slow pulse (in the 40s) so I had to do a 24 hour ECG. This did not show problems but it did show that I get skipped beats and my pulse drops even lower in the night. My temperature is consistently low 35 C when normal is 36.5 C yet I feel hot all the time. I used to constantly get orthostatic blood pressure drops (whatever the name is for that thing where you almost black out when you stand up) but I haven't got that particular thing in a while. Water passes through me extremely quickly. I get twinges in my limbs very frequently, especially the back of my legs. It feels like there is resistance when I breathe in.

The worst is when I basically just get a congested feeling in my heart. A few times I have got really dizzy COMPLETELY out of the blue and the entire room started to spin (was not remotely nervous it just hit when I was tucked in bed). Right now I have the congested feeling. Sometimes this will be accompanied by my fingertips and hands going numb. Sometimes I will feel a heavyness in my chest or pressure or something, I don't know how to explain it. I feel like I have to draw a deep breath after a little while when it happens, and there are times where I get really strong heartbeats which LITERALLY force air out of my lungs uncontrollably. When I am at nightclubs since I started getting these problems, when I stand next to the bass speakers for too long (when the bass is pounding out huge vibrations) my chest starts to hurt and the room starts spinning, it gets worse if I try to tough it out until it feels like I'm about to black out and my chest is really hurting badly. A note on this in particular, before all of this stuff I had been going to clubs for many years, even when I had legit terrible anxiety problems, and there were no issues whatsoever, I actually enjoy music a lot.

My testosterone is quite low too to be honest, for my age anyway, but it's in range (365 ng/dl at 23 years old). Not sure if that's helpful. I just want to know what is wrong with me. I'm being referred to like 100 different specialists because all blood tests basically show my body is falling to pieces. I'm really hoping somebody will recognize these symptoms and test results and be able to suggest something.

Well, if the doctor was worried then he/she should’ve diagnosed you with something or prescribed you some medication or advice of some sort. Well, regarding with the pulse, 40s is a good indication(based on Google) , athletes or very fit people has a 40-50 pulse.

Mine was 58 once and I am no athlete. If it's in 40's I'd think doctor would prescribe something for that.

If your tsh is raised then you could be borderline underactive thyroid which could account for some of your symptoms. The normal range for thyroid tests is just that a range that most people fall into but it should never be used in isolation and should always be used in conjuction with any symptoms ie your low temperature etc.
Could you discuss with your Gp maybe trying the very minimum dose of thyroxine for 8 weeks to see if any symptoms improve, you may have to sign a disclaimer to do this but I know quite a few people who have done this and have improved so they have then stayed on the medication.
Some of your symptoms could also be related to panic attacks.
Kidney tests can be skewed if you are dehydrated- could this have been an issue for you when you had the tests?

I think the best thing for you to do is go and see your doctor and explain how worried you are and ask him/her to explain the results and if your doctor isn't worried then it could be your anxiety and panic making symptoms worse .

Ask him for your actual tsh result. Could be hypothyroid. I am and your symptoms are similar to me

Well I can't even run a mile so I wouldn't consider myself fit at all. There's no meds for a slow pulse as far as I know, I think the only thing they can do is fit a pacemaker.

I'm very worried about my heart, I really feel like it's just going to stop working. I'm skipping beats often and have an unexplainable slow pulse.

    First one TSH was 5.60 mu/L, second one was 7.60 mu/L. T4 was 15.4 pmol/L and 15.6 pmol/L. I was negative for TPO antibodies.

My physical temperature is low (I have a thermometer) but it's weird because sometimes I get really hot too and I'm worried thyroxine would make that worse. Then again about a month ago I was constantly freezing cold and laying in bed with a hot water bottle tired all day. Perhaps my thyroid is just starting to fail and the TSH just kicked up to counterbalance. There's no explanation for why it's underactive.

Ultrasound did not show a significant enlargement of the gland but it has a multinodular appearance.

Just wondering, what symptoms sounded familiar to you?

Each lab has a different reference range for tsh results so you also need to know the range for your particular lab. Certainly the reference range from my health authority lab would say you were most def hypothyroid with those tsh results although your t4 is in the normal range.

Low temperature is a classic sign of underactive thyroid especially low temp very first thing when you wake up before leaving the bed. Slow pulse is also another symptom as is raised cholesterol, weight gain, dry skin the list is quite long!
