Thread: Has anyone overcome Solipsism ocd?

Re: Has anyone overcome Solipsism ocd?

Remember, Solipsism is false. And a deception of the new age religions. Truth exists. Other minds exist. They are self evident absolute truths and are 100% proveable. People who believe in Solipsism don't think these things. They just accept like idiots

Re: Has anyone overcome Solipsism ocd?

I've dealt with solipsism obsessions and overcome them. But let me tell you: all the themes are the same. They stick around because of your unhealthy ways of reacting to uncertainty. If you focus on beating one theme, your brain will most likely come up with another theme. It's an endless cycle unless we go for the root of it - uncertainty itself. When we learn to react to uncertainty in a healthier way, these obsessions no longer stick around.

I wrote about this on some other forum. Here's a link!

Check out my previous post and check the link. Read it carefully. Check out Mark Freeman's video on depersonalization. Start taking the steps to cut the compulsions and to learn how to handle uncertainty in a healthier way. Compulsions --> more uncertainty & more obsessing. As long as you keep engaging in compulsions, your ocd won't get any better.
