Unhappy Stomach pain on the left side

Here I am again. I dont post alot, But when I do its real bad. I have this pain on leftside of stomach. It hurts (not alot but some) when i bend over. I wanna add that I been suffering from panicanxiety for 25 years (since I was 5) and the tension that goes along with it. Could this be just another one of our horrible symptoms? Anyone else had it like this? Please, anyone.

    Hi

It could be trapped wind, IBS, pulled muscle, indigestion - any number of things to be honest and quite hard to diagnose just from what you say.

Are you sure it is your stomach and not the bowel?

Can you not pop and see the doctor about it?

Re: Stomach pain on the left side

I have had frequent stomach pain (left side under ribs) and bloating for years. I have had an endoscopy as well and they found erosions, they said to stop eating citric foods, fatty foods, coffee, NEVER drink red bull or anything similar and to cut down on fibre.

They also told me to take 10ml of gaviscon before each meal, this seemed to help a lot. I then stopped doing it and now the pain and bloating are there.

If you have a pharmacy near by or supermarket then grab some Zantac, I have the strong version of this on prescription and it helps a lot. Infact the pain started the same way as you.

If you can see your GP about it then great, if you want to try something else then:

    1) Use a hair dryer on the area, this can really really help
    2) There is a massage you can do, take your left index finger and fold it, then rub it in small circles just in the stomach area, this can really help with the bloating and pain.
    3) Lay down in the foetal position on your left side, this can also help.
