Getting the libido back

So, for many years while on Citalopram my libido was fine. This was probably because I was also on Zopiclone which is known for supercharging such things so they cancelled each other out. Once I had stopped the Zopiclone though the 'edge' was taken off quite a bit. At time I wouldn't know if I had 'finished' until I felt something slimy down there.

This seems to be a common problem so I looked around to try and find something to help. I was already taking Zinc, which is used a lot in the production of seamen but I found out that somthing some goats eat in south America may help.

Goat herders had noted that goats eating a certain plant would get good erections and be very amorous. You can now buy the extract of this and (somewhat embarrassingly) it's sold as 'Horny Goat Weed'. I say it works for me. Nowhere near as well as the Zopiclone evidently did but I do feel more sensitive and quite frankly, horny.

Does anyone else have these problems and have your own ideas or advice on getting the feeling back?

It's news to me that zopiclone increases libido, but good luck with the horny goat weed - it seems to be based on a naturally occurring plant that may have the effect you want. Remember that plant extracts contain many active chemicals - some which may have undesirable effects.

I've just started on Citalopram last week but I feel like my sex drive has increased.. Too much to be honest lol as it's much higher than my fianceés

The solution is take pill holydays of your medication when you going to have sex or take medication like sildenafil, vardenafil or tadalafil, greetings from Mexico.

well..... I found zopiclone didn't work for me. I just battled through it.... I might actually try a holiday for a few days and see how that improves my thinking

Eat more natural food would be better than taking medication. Oyster is one of the most effective in raising libido for men And soy needs to be avoided.

I have been on Clomipramine 100mg for about 6 months. It has decreased my libido (well, not necessarily decreased, but it has not benefited me making the sexytime) I want to decrease the medication myself because getting an appointment with my main adult psychiatrist specialist doctor is a long wait. What can I do? I do kinda masturbate every now and again but it just aint the same anymore... :/ what do i do? .... im age 19 by the way
