weekend away

Hi all,

I actually managed a weekend away and I had to drive to get there. The journey took about an hour and I was ok with it, my sis drove her car down at the same time as me, I think her just being in the car behind me made me relax. While I was there I managed to take my kids swimming, something I haven't done in years and years, I am so proud of myself.

I am a little anxious now I'm back home as hubby back at work and I'm by myself again but it was such a good weekend we gonna go again in the summer holidays. I can't believe I did it when 4 years ago I couldn't even get out of my back door and to the garden gate!

I am now feeling more positive and instead of saying I'm agoraphobic I'm going to refer to myself as being a recovering agoraphobic, hope the roll I'm on at the mo keeps up

I really hope this gives other sufferers hope that progress can be made
