    Poor you blue moon!

A good thing that happened today... I found some people that want to be involved in a new venture I'm setting up. Not sure how I'm going to fund it yet but I think it will be successful.

Another good thing is that I think I'm getting better at typing, I write shorter more succinct emails and I'm less precious about each word and I think that's better - I just don't have enough time to agonise over every email any more. It means I get things done much faster! It's great!

One good thing that happened today. I'm fighting off my tonsillitis quite well, so I'll be well enough to go to work tomorrow. I've got everything packed and ready, including train snacks.

After a 5 month wait my daughter got an appointment to day, for this week to see once and fore all if she has ME or Sjogen's.Hopefully the specialist will finally determine what it actually is and if possible ,any treatment.

Really pleased to hear that things are moving forward for your daughter, Ricardo. I do hope she gets a definitive diagnosis and an explanation for her suffering.

Fab about the specialist appointment ricardo!

One good thing that happened today: towards the end of the work day, I decided that since I am in a new city, I might as well see what there is to see here, and do this hour of work later. So I wandered round Sheffield, where I'd never been before. I looked through the Sheffield Museum and enjoyed some of the art. I stumbled into an indoor garden where there was a pop up shop, and I bought myself some earrings that are made from vinyls (thought they were really unusual). And then I still had half an hour before the train left back for London, so I went to another gallery, found a good birthday present for my friend in the shop, and looked in the gallery there too. It was unexpectedly rewarding for a very short visit.

So despite lugging around lots of heavy bags with me, that was a fun, interesting part of the day

I did something that I haven't done for 3 years. I walked across the road with my wife and 2 kids, to the pub in the village and we had a fab lunch. We stayed there for 1 hour 35 minutes and then walked back to our home.My daughter now has a difficult time ahead and I need to be strong for her.I was really anxious but thought regardless of the circumstances it would be nice to have a meal out, once again as a family.

It might not seem much to many but I have hardly left my place since we came back to England bar doctor, hospital and dentist.

Oh thank you all for the good wishes for our daughter.

That's an amazing achievement, Ricardo! Really well done but you must be mentally exhausted now? Your family must be so proud of you to have done that. I'm sure your daughter will have got such a boost from having lunch out with her Dad as well.

My daughter and I went to Bath for the day today on the train. Despite a few hiccoughs (my daughter is on the autistic spectrum and has severe OCD) we managed to spend 4 hours in Bath and the sun was shining. As always the "price" will be paid tomorrow (no, not negative thinking-reality) but we have some good memories (and a new tea caddy for my favourite loose leaf tea!) Tourists everywhere which can be a pain though (Yes, I know they are good for The Economy)
